Life Insurance - Because We Care
We purchase life insurance because we care. We care for our partners and children and other people who depend on us financially. We care for them enough to face the fact of the cold reality of death - after all, none of us gets out of here alive!

We care for them enough to acknowledge the fact that we could die young, leaving loved ones to suffer without our income. We care for them enough to put down some hard-earned money for insurance that will make sure that if we do die early, our death will not burden them financially - mortgage payments will be made, food will be on the table and clothes on their backs.
However, life insurance isn’t for everyone, neither is car insurance. Both are excellent ideas and provide good coverage, but if no one will be hurt financially by your death, you wouldn’t buy life insurance, any more then you would buy car insurance if you don’t drive or own a car.
There are two main types of life insurance - permanent life insurance and term life insurance. Permanent life insurance covers you for you entire lifetime. Your death is a certainty and when you die it pays the death benefit. Term life insurance covers only part of your lifetime, and when that part or term ends, so does the coverage. This type of policy will only pay a death benefit if you die within the designated term.
